New Year's Eve at Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya

Welcome to my first post on this blog. Let's start off with my stay in Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Formerly known as Equatorial Bangi Hotel, this is a 5-star conference resort which is located approximately 30km away from Kuala Lumpur city centre and 45km from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Equipped with a 27-hole championship golf course and surrounded by trees, this hotel is quite serene. Plenty of facilities in the hotel itself as they have an in-house salon, mini mart, cafe, restaurant, bar, gym and spa. You basically don't need to leave the hotel if you're hungry or forgot to pack along something in your luggage.

Considering this hotel is about 20 years old since its Equatorial days, the interior and amenities is quite impressive. The rooms doesn't have the musky smell most old hotels do. Rooms here are big with balcony. You can choose your room either facing the golf course or Bangi town.

I took the more serene golf course view.

I also had their NYE dinner buffet at Cafe Lavista. Food variety could be better. There's plenty of desserts for all you sweet-toothed. Buffet consists of local and international cuisines.

This hotel is also rated at 4 and a half stars on TripAdvisor.
